Corrections Policy
We want every article on The Clean Machine to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
How to report an error
Email the editors at [email protected] with the link to the article, what you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information. We review every report.
What we do
- Factual errors (a wrong number, date, name, instruction or claim) are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and a note is added at the end of the article: “Correction (date): this article previously said X. It has been corrected to say Y.”
- Minor fixes such as typos, broken links or wording that does not change the meaning are made without a note.
- Updates that add new information, for example a new official guideline or recall, are marked with the date of the update.
- If an article is fundamentally wrong and cannot be fixed, we remove it and explain why on the same address.
Response time
We aim to review reports within a few working days; safety-related reports are handled first.
